Website Now Back Up

The Goddess Knits website is now back up and can be accessed through http://www.bopeepswoolshop.com or http://www.goddessknits.com.

Website Down

For anyone trying to access the Goddess Knits website - the site is temporarily down (which is also why this page looks like it does, all my images are on that server) because the server is being updated. The site should be back up by Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for your patience.

Another Mystery

The Halloween Shawl sign ups are now being accepted on the Goddess Knits website. All of the information on yarn, needles, etc is available there as well. If you are concerned about the finished shawl being obviously Halloween-related, rest assured that the lace design itself is just a "regular" design. The only element, besides the name, that would be obvious is optional.

Two New Patterns Available

Two new shawl patterns now available from Goddess Knits - a multicolor circular shawl and an easy mohair lace shawl. Plus all sock patterns have been updated to the new pattern format. Visit the website now to order.

An Autumn Mystery

Sign-ups are now being taken for the next Mystery Shawl to begin on Saturday, September 15. There is a slight price increase, due to the extensive amount of time that it takes to get the files ready and manage the group, but it is still less than a regular pattern on my website.

There is an Autumn theme to this shawl so any "fall" colors will work for this - reds, oranges, golds, dark greens, browns; or any handpainted yarn with a mixture of any of these colors. More information is listed on the website.

Please make sure that you provide your Yahoo ID when you order so I know who has paid when I go over the member list. Some of you have different email addresses for your Yahoo ID than what you use when you order and sometimes it's difficult to figure out who you are.

If you are not already in the group you will need to join to be added and please remember that you will not be added until the day of the first clue.

Four new patterns are now available from Goddess Knits - 2 socks and 2 shawls.




Also, a new Mystery Shawl will begin on July 28. This mystery will included two bonuses - an additional shawl pattern as well as a special bonus that will be uploaded at the end of the mystery.

Okay, well the sock pattern I wrote for the Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Design Contest did not win, so I have the pattern available on my website - Bo Peep's Wool Shop.

Sock Idea

Okay, I have a sock pattern idea for this yarn:

I came up with it yesterday, I just need to work out the pattern details to see if it's gonna work. And no, it's not tiger stripes. This is Zephyr 4/14, 65% superwash wool and 35% silk. It makes great socks, I used if for my Cerridwen pattern (and of course I sell it on my website). Check back to see what I come up with!
