Botanical Gardens Yarn Club

Introducing the Botanical Gardens Yarn Club, a six-month yarn club inspired by the garden. Each month, members will receive a new skein of yarn, dyed in a different colorway inspired by plants and flowers, along with a coordinating stitch marker.

• Installments will be shipped by the fourth week of each month, from August 2013 through January 2014.
• This is a yarn only club, so no patterns will be included.
• Choice of all sock yarn or all lace yarn.
• Sock yarn selections will be a minimum of 400yds each.
• Lace yarn selections will vary from 400yds to 880yds each.
• Yarns will vary each month and may include wool or wool blends.

Color Harmony Yarn Club

Introducing the Color Harmony Yarn Club, a colorwork yarn club.

This 6-month club features Goddess Knits designs, all using colorwork patterns, and Decadently Divine yarns in 2 harmonizing colorways. With each shipment you will receive an original, exclusive pattern and enough divine yarn, in 2 colorways, to complete the project. All patterns, and colorways, will remain exclusive to the club for 6 months after the delivery of each monthly kit.

Choose from all socks, all fingerless mitts, or a combination; combination option will consist of 3 socks and 3 mitts. You can also order a full club of both socks and mitts (6 socks and 6 mitts) at a 10% discount. Yarns used will all be 100% Peruvian wool, 440yds/100gr each.

Introducing the Seasons Collection yarn series.

A quarterly yarn collection featuring multi-tonal yarns in seasonal colors. Each selection includes a coordinating Swarovski® Crystal charm that can be used as a stitch marker, bracelet charm or pendant. Makes a great gift for any knitter or crocheter!

This is not a club, so there is no long-term commitment, simply order the seasons you choose. Each seasonal collection consists of three shipments of your chosen yarn base, dyed in colorways inspired by that particular season. Every three months, a new collection will be available to purchase for one month’s time; shipments will begin with the month following the order month.

Design Your Own Shawl Class, April 2013

I am now offering another Design Your Own Shawl class!

Lessons include:

• How to layout a design using charts
• Modify a stitch pattern to fit your chart
• Finding stitch patterns that compliment each other

Prerequisites required:

• Basic knitting skills - how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
• Knowledge of basic lace knitting

The class will be held from April 1, 2013 through May 5, 2013. Orders will be taken until Monday, April 1, 2013.

An email will be sent to you, the week prior to the start of class, with the link to the class site where you will need to register for the class.

Spring Mystery Shawl 2013

Bygone Days Lace Club

Introducing the Bygone Days Lace Club!

Come take a trip back when times were simpler, of lazy days on the porch and swingin’ on a tire over the creek.

This club features 6 months of Goddess Knits designs paired with Decadently Divine yarn in colorways inspired by dusty things found in the attic. With each shipment you will receive an original, exclusive pattern, enough divine lace yarn to complete the project, and some extra fancy things such as beads, buttons, and ribbon, along with a coordinating stitch marker. Advanced Shawl Design for March

Now available for enrollment, Advanced Shawl Design:

With this 6-week class you will learn how to design a shawl using advanced design skills.

Lessons will include:

• How to design different shawl shapes including square, circular, hexagon, and Faroese.
• How to modify different shapes.
• How to incorporate an edging into your design.
• How to customize stitches to create unique designs.

Prerequisites required:

• You must have taken the Design Your Own Shawl class; or at minimum:
• Have knowledge of how to design a basic top-down triangular shawl.
• Have knowledge of how to write a chart using Excel or other knitting software.
• Have knowledge of how to format a pattern to include basic instructions along with design charts.

 An email will be sent to you, the week prior to the start of class, with the link to the class site where you will need to register for the class.

This class will begin Monday, March 4, 2013 and end Sunday, April 14, 2013. Orders will be taken until Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Introducing the By the Sea Yarn Club, a six-month yarn club inspired by the sea.

The By the Sea club is a yarn only club featuring multi-tonal colorways. Each month, members will receive a new skein of yarn dyed in a different multi-tonal colorway inspired by the sea - such as sea shells, beach glass, and drifting sand, along with a coordinating stitch marker. Yarn bases will also vary each month, in fiber content and yardage, depending on which option you choose.
